This training is divided in three parts:

- Mechanic and basic maintenance notions
- Hydraulic system
- Engine starting and shutdown
- The workplan
Individual or small group practice section
- Presentation of the power shovel and its components
- Examination and maintenance of the shovel
- Engine starting and shutdown and parking of the shovel
- Planning the work
- Following the levels
- Movements (1,2,3,4 actions)
- Flow distribution
- Working with a transit
- Ditching, trenching, and cellar digging

- Moving the shovel with 360 degrees traction
